Is the data in EBS are encrypted by default?

I'm answering a business tender, there has a requirement that all sensitive date in the ERP system i.e Personal Identifying Information, must be encrypted in transit and at rest. Does EBS system can fulfill this requirement?

If it's not, is there any add-on solution can fulfill such requirement?
