New KM Document for Required Setup for Advanced Preference Scheduling Fences

You can use schedule fences and preferences to control how the system maintains records for new releases and changed quantities. Two kinds of fences exist, firm and plan. A firm shipment fence specifies the number of days of demand for which you create sales orders. The planned forecast fence specifies the number of days of demand for which you create forecasts. This new KM document describes the setup that is needed in order to use Advanced Preference Scheduling Fences (Preference Type 27) in Demand Scheduling (P4070, P4071, P4072, F40R10, R40R010). Doc ID 2868591.1. https://bit.ly/3zCIiuL
