Migrate RMAN from version 11 to version 19

Hello,

I am currently backing up databases in version 11.2.0.3.0 with RMAN in the same version.

I will soon migrate the databases to version 19c and I must first create a new catalog also in version 19c.

What is the strategy for upgrading RMAN while keeping existing backups?

Is it possible to save the databases in version 11 to the new version 19 catalog while keeping the existing backups.

I need to retain the ability to restore a backup made with RMAN 11 from RMAN 19.
