Ship Confirmation P4205 cancel sales order Do not update the commitment.

Dear all

The available quantity of item 240 in M20 branch is 2500.Now I have created a sales order for item 240,Branch is M20.Quanlity ordered is 3000。then saved order,Because the order quantity is greater than the available quantity. There will be 500 cancellation of the order.

At this time, the commitment of item 240 in branch M20 is 2500.

After that, I was in the shipment confirmation program P4205, deleting the number in the quanlity shipped column, and then saved the record(As shown in the figure).The last status of the order is 984, and the next status is 999.


At this time, the commitment is still 2500.So what's the cause of this?
