Changing Company Numbers on Business Units
Hi Community,
Does anyone know know if there are any standard procedures on the HCM side to move Business Units to a new Company number? We see multiple knowledge documents on MOS on this topic, but they all cover Financials only.
We are looking into changing the legal entities in one of our regions, and need to understand if there is a standard option for this in HR/Payroll, what the main impact is (Setup, History, Reporting, ACA, integrities, Wage limits etc.) and what to look out for when implementing. The changes will impact the MCU/CO assignments on the BU Master (F0006). It's possible the FEIN won't change for payroll. Just trying to identify all the downstream impacts.
