Automatic rolling dates on Interim ID

Is there a setting on the Interim ID setup that tells the system to automatically roll forward the pay period date once the interim ID is processed through the payroll workbench? Our existing interim IDs have dates that automatically roll but the new ones I created do not and I'm trying to determine if it's a setting or if it's because I am processing multiple Interim IDs through one payroll ID (currently we have a 1:1 relationship between interim ID and payroll ID).
