For E1 9.1 Shop floor WO, must I attach a parts list to an outbound interoperability WO?

Hello MOSC,

For an E1 9.1 manufacturing work order, must we attach a parts list to an outbound interoperability work order that will be processed by third-party software?

We want to create a work order that identifies the item number and the quantity of an item and send to third-party software via the outbound interoperability process. We do not need to send a parts list if the third-party software already has parts lists and/or bills of materials for the various finished goods that we want it to make.

The documentation does not discuss this option. It seems to imply that we will always send a parts list or a perform a materials issue as part of the outbound interoperability processes.
