Any way to hide action reasons in the job data drop down list?

Hello,

We are on 9.2 currently upgrading to tools 8.59 image 41. I was wondering if there is a way to hide the Position management action reason POS-NEW so it cannot be selected by users that are entering changes in job data? Since that should only be used when creating a new position in position management there should be no reason any user would need to select this in job data.
