IRS rule on Secure 401(k) Act for casual employees
Hello,
We were going through the new IRS rule on Secure 401(k) Act for casual employees where they can now become eligible for contributing to 401k plans however employer will match only after the employee completes 1000hrs.
We were curious to know how other organizations are planning to implement this? We were thinking of creating a new benefit plan for the group between 500 to 1000 hrs and indicating no employer match in the benefit program. And then having a custom program switch them to the correct Benefit plan when they complete 1000hrs.
Do we know if Oracle is planning to release a new patch to handle this new rule?
