frmservlet.jnlp blocked via Google Chrome after JWS

Is anyone experiencing this issue? After enabling JWS, users are able to successfully launch Java without issues using Google Chrome as a browser; however when trying to reroute to a different java form, we get the frmservlet.jnlp download to our computer but it is blocked with no options to open it. (Note: This works in Internet Explorer/Edge without Issues)

Example:

The steps are General Ledger responsibility > Inquiry > Account > Enter account number > Show Journal Details > Drilldown > View transaction.



I have an open SR on this and so far have tried the following:

1) Added

SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge\ExemptDomainFileTypePairsFromFileTypeDownload

Warnings in registry
