Transfer assets from one company to new company

Hi,

We are in the process of moving assets from one company(balance segment value) to a new company(balance segment value) so exploring the options.

Option - 1

-> Create a new category with new accounts (BSV)

-> Transfer assets from existing category to new category using reclassification option if it is within books.

Option - 2

-> Retire the asset in existing book

-> Extract the same asset with accumulated depreciation amount, DPIS and upload asset into new category within existing book or new book

-> Run Depreciation

-> Reverse the Addition accounting entry.

Option -3

Any better way?
