KVM Host Requirements - Swap space

Hello,

According to both the OLVM Getting Started and Architecture & Planning Guides, the KVM host requirements mention allowing 60GB dedicated to the OLVM allocated as 30GB for / (root), 1GB for /boot, & 29GB for /var. There is no mention of swap space. Generally, I allocate enough space for a swap mount point partition to match the amount of memory on a linux host (physical or virtual). Would this still be the case on a KVM host? I'm just not sure with the KVM hypervisor. If I remember correctly in the older Oracle VM software,

Howdy, Stranger!
