Restoration doubt

in Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

we have a production database of 8TB and we have a critical activity on the same. we are going to put the database in flashback ON and create a restore point.

the activity will take place for minimum 12 hrs , so if something goes wrong while deployment, within how much time the database will be restore to the restore point and will there be any issue.

please advice if you have any other methods for the same.
