Refresh new options added to models in sales order booked

We have a business case that I don't know if it is possible to solve.
In our organization we manage sales orders with Pick-To-Order Models. It is common that the configurations change and new options become available for sale.
Many of these new options, we want to apply to sales orders that already exist in Order Management in "Booked" status.
When the user reopens the configurator in the sales order already booked, the new options that have been included in the PTO Model do not appear, therefore it does not allow the user to modify it, adding these new options. However, if a completely new order is created, these new options do appear.
