Multibyte Characters not showing in MSCA Telnet

Hi All,

We are in 12.2.5 oracle apps with base language American English ( No other language is installed in application)

NLS_CHARACTERSET in DB is WE8ISO8859P1.

And in dafault_key.ini file has CHARACTER_SET as UTF8.

While we have set up message with Spanish character the same is properly stored in Database but is not showing in MSCA Telnet screen.


Can you please help to understand the issue and the fix.

We do not want to install Spanish language because that will a large amount of customization component other than WMS also,
