How to install / configure Oracle Linux 7 as an LDAP client?

edited August 2022 in Linux Operating System (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

Hi,

currently we have an Openldap sever on Debian and now we want to install a client on a Oracle Linux 7.9 machine but every doc I find or any help I can find does not work. we are currently wanting to implement ssh authentication via ldap.

does Oracle Linux 7.9 or even as a whole support ldap and if so how can I install and configure the client.

Howdy, Stranger!
