Subledger type inactive for work order

We are entering a speed voucher in AP. On a valid GL account in the GL distribution screen, we enter a subledger type as 'W' and enter a subledger with a work order number that has the status F4801.WASRST of 'A' for active. We get an error on voucher screen with invalid subledger. What does the system validate on the GL distribution on subledger type W, whether the document number in F4801 on WADOCO and the Work Order Status WASRST and whether A is valid?
