Best Practices for Implementing TLS encryption for Oracle Client/Servers
We currently have a requirement to use TLS 2.0 encryption. We have a Power BI Application in Azure that will request data through a gateway to an On-Prem Oracle Database. The Oracle Database is Enterprise Edition 19c patch level 15 running on Red Hat Linux 7. This database contains our Peoplesoft Application data replicating Active Dataguard. We also use Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to monitor our environment and run daily jobs. What are the best practices for Implementing TLS? Is there a method where the database can have TLS and NON-TLS connections? From what I have read this is not possible.
Is it best practice to use Client and or Server Wallets? I am not familiar with this encryption method. Please provide recommendations and detailed guidance.
