Validate DFF values to be mandatory - OAF (Customer Account screen)

Hello,

We have a requirement to add a DFF freeform at customer account level. However, there is also a requirement to allow nulls and if value is entered, it should be unique.

Can someone please suggest if there is a way to do this?
