Issue with PL/SQL queries and application items reverting to previous state

in Oracle Application Express (MOSC) Question

Hi all, has anyone ever seen an issue where they update an existing PL/SQL query for an IR, or the columns that are generated, but later on they mysteriously revert back to the previously saved version? And the weirdest thing is, the apex page item retains the new modified date/modified by, so it's not like the page itself is getting rolled back.

But the applications we're seeing this behavior in are compatibility pre-4.1 to 4.2

Please advise if you have any experience with this issue and/or solution to it, thanks!
