Enable Lot Control on an Item That Already Exists

We are trying to enable lot control on an Item that already exists in PeopleSoft. I know the inventory has to be zero. However, when the inventory is zero, the Lot Control checkbox is still greyed out. I am not sure if this is a functional issue in the system or if it is a Permission issue. I wanted to ask the community to see if anyone had additional information.


How can you enable Lot Control when the Item is already in the system?
