$inst is writing blank

in Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Infra team created the new UAT environment on Oracle R12. when we submit the host concurrent program the $inst is returning blank insider of instance name. when we try echo $inst in server it was wring the instance name correctly but its not coming up on the application concurrent program.
