Can you use the legacy database import/export utility to export data from Oracle 9i to Oracle 19c?

We have a one-time data load that needs to be done from an Oracle 9i environment. We are not upgrading the Oracle 9i database, simply moving the relevant Oracle 9i data into a currently running Oracle 19c environment. Basically it would be a one-time export of a handful of schemas.

While I know the true migration path for Oracle 9i to Oracle 19c is through Oracle 11g, we actually don't plan on upgrading the database. We are only taking what we need and then decommissioning the Oracle 9i environment. In other words, I would prefer not to waste time installing Oracle 11g just to do an export.
