Purchase Order RTE

Hi,

I want to use Purchase Order RTE. I have one query, is it possibility to limit the order status at certain point.

Or If I do not want to trigger RTE at certain stage when we are inserting or updating the record. Is it possible to achieve this. If yes, please suggest the approach.
