Is there a way to stop OLVM VMs from pausing when they lose Storage?

Hello,

We've set up a small cluster on OLVM 4.3.10 to host some RAC databases. It's working well, but we recently lost a storage server due to a network issue, and it paused the VMs. We have ASM set up across multiple storage servers, so I'd rather the disks just stopped working on the VM and let ASM deal with it (obviously we'd lose system disks).

Is this possible? The oVirt community suggested it's not, and that I should use iSCSI or some other direct attachment, but I thought I should ask here as this community is more likely to have a similar setup.
