Why Doesn't Oracle Allow the Name Field in the Non-Labor Resources to be Reused if One is End Dated?

Oracle E-Business Suite Version 12.2.9

Does anyone know why Oracle won't allow the end user to reuse the Name field in the Non-Labor Resources form if the original one is end dated? I can't get past this message to put in a unique expenditure type.



We will need the ability to update this form when we onboard an acquired company to Oracle.
