How to know exactly which patch to use

in Patch Reviews - Middleware (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓

I have "Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition Release 19.0.0.0.0 - Production Version 19.3.0.0.0" installed and when I do the patch search 19c isn't listed under "Release", so I used "Oracle Database 19.0.0.0" and the newest one is 34384856.

Do I need to upgrade my version of oracle for this patch to work?

Is there a tool I can run against my oracle database to see what patches are needed?
