Copy Sub-inventory while splitting PO Shipments

hi ,

We have a requirement wherein sometimes supplier wants to split the shipments of items as per separate Promise shipment Date. Is there a standard this can be achieved that when we split the shipments the sub-inv gets copied to another line.
