Cumulative Total LT at org item level rollup question

Hello hivemind,

We are a discrete manufacturing org that utilizes supplier lead times at the ASL location for BUY items. These BUY items go in to a MAKE assembly. I've noticed that if the org item of the BUY item does not contain a processing lead time, the lead time of the BUY item will not be rolled up in to the cumulative total LT of the MAKE assembly. In our case, we do not utilize org item lead time for BUY items, as they are stored in the global ASL for each item that we purchase.

Is there a way to have the global ASL lead time rolled up in to the cumulative total LT of the MAKE assembly without utilizing org item processing LT on the BUY item?
