Fluid Benefits - Document Upload for Dependents Works differently Fluid Enrollment in Onboarding

I'm working on adding document upload for dependents in our test system. For now I've only enabled it as being required when new beneficiaries/dependents are added (for all fields).


It works great from the dependent/beneficiary title.


What I'm running into is when adding dependents/beneficiaries within the fluid benefits enrollment page through onboarding, the requirement for uploading the supporting documentation isn't triggered. The dependent/beneficiary automatically gets marked as a "qualified dependent" allowing for the employee to add that dependent to coverage.

What am I'm missing?
