STP2 -Total Employment Cost inclusive of Super
One of our clients have a remuneration structure for employees that is divided into two: Non-Packaged and Packaged Earnings. (Total employment cost)
For non-packaged employees, Taxable earnings and employer super contribution are two separate components. They are reported separately. So no issues.
Whereas for packaged employees, Employer super contribution is included in Taxable earnings. How can this Super be disaggregated from Gross.
For example , a packaged employee with $100,000 package had $90,000 as base and $10,000 as Super component.
How should base and super be reported in this scenario? Should we report $100,000 or $90,000 as Salary and Wages? What about the Super component?
