We are using R12.2.7 and 19c Database and IBM AIX Virtual Machine.

Currently, I am trying to perform backup and restore of the UAT instance by backup and application directory and db directory by .tar directory only.

Pls. advise directories should I backup by .tar command ? and restore the backup directory by by .tar ?
