Xstore coupon deal discount clarification

in Retail Point-of-Service Solutions (MOSC) Question

Hi Team

We have a scenarion where discount amount is greater than the item amount. 

The sales screen shows the delta coupon deal was applied for the full amount of 1st item and then the 12.99 discount was applied.  

This brings the amount of the 1st item to a negative number. The sales screen doesn't show a negative number for the extended amount of this item.

is this how xstore applies coupon deals on item? Please see the screenshot below. Second coupon should not apply as 1st item already got discount in full amount.

Here I have also attached the coupon deal table details.
