Database Migration 12c to 19c With Goldengate

In our production environment, we have 4 database servers each with 1 standalone (non-RAC, non-ASM) database running Oracle 12.2.0.1 (OGG 12.3) with bi-directional replication. I have been asked to migrate 2 of the servers to new hardware, and also get ALL of the databases up to 19c (OGG 19). I am fairly new with supporting Goldengate, and am trying to see if anyone can point me to some documentation on how I may go about this migration. Would it be wise to try and upgrade on existing hardware to 19c (OGG 19) first before moving to new
