oem 13c monitoring template - how to know by looking at target that it is in place

I really have 2 questions/concerns and the documentation and a search through MOS didn't address either. So, I'll try here before opening an SR since they can be quite painful to get moving.

Just to get the versions out of the way: I am (for now) completely up to date with patching the OMS, repo, mgmt agent, host agents, and 95% of the databases we monitor using OEM.

OMS stack - 13.5 RU 8

DBs - 19.16.0.0.0

#1 Question - I applied monitoring templates to several database targets. But when I go to those targets and I pull up the monitoring metric settings, I don't see that the template has been applied. I'm pretty sure it is, but it would be nice to see that, just like you see a baseline or profile is in place on a sql execution stats.
