Using Preference, Commit & Ship only from a specific location else backorder if stock is unavailable

Hi Team,

Currently we have a BP e.g., BP01 which holds all the inventory in a specific location e.g., LOCATION10 for all the companies with either same or different lots. We also have virtual BP for other companies but just for financials.

Now the requirement is that the different companies should be able to ship from different location. example,

Company 10 ship from only BP01 and LOCATION10

Company 20 ship from only BP01 and LOCATION20

Company 30 ship from only BP01 and LOCATION30.

I had created a preference using preference type 22 for shipping location with the Customer price group as a parameter in preference hierarchy. It is working but the issue is, how to restrict orders to commit & ship only from their assigned locations, and backorder rest during pick slip if stock is unavailable?
