Cannot create Receipts for Invoices with Advancing Rules

Dear Team,

We have a scenario where we are not able to apply Receipts against Invoices with Invoicing Rule. While creating & applying receipt, we are able to choose the invoice, but once we click apply and save, its not saving and we are not getting any error message also.

Do anyone know what could be the reason.

This issue is only for invoices with Invoicing rule (for both invoice in Advance & Arrears) and there is no issue for applying receipts against invoices which does not have invoicing rule
