Question on Payroll Change Reason Effective Date

Hi ~

Need to remove a "Date of Last Check" date for a terminated employee so that a revise check can be sent. When the record is saved, the screen goes to a Change Reason screen (P08EFT).

Does the effective date entered on the Change Reason screen impact transactions or payroll processing or is the date just documenting the change?
