Fixed Asset Help with amortize adjustment

Hi All

We are on 12.1.3 EBS

“If amortize adjustment is clicked and we need to change the life years of an asset (within the same fiscal year) how do we get Oracle to calculate the year to date adjustment for depreciation”.

We want to make sure we have checked everything as we really don’t want to have to dispose of the asset and re-create.
