Assistance in understanding what to set hugepages too

Hello all,

I am migrating standalone oracle instances on a linux server to pluggable instances and to a new server with 192GB. I would like to allocate sga_max to 100g and pga target to 32g.

that should put us at 164 with pga_aggregate_limit setting itself to 64g.

i am trying to wrap my mind around this based on some articles, show below but my numbers are not adding up based on calculations

https://www.carajandb.com/en/blog/2016/7-easy-steps-to-configure-hugepages-for-your-oracle-database-server/

When trying to increase the sga we get

SQL> startup

ORA-27138: unable to allocate large pages with current parameter setting

Howdy, Stranger!
