PeopleSoft Recruiting Issue

We are currently on PUM 38 Tool 8.85.12.

We have a situation with PeopleSoft recruiting. We hire interns for summer and their applicant id is "Hired" for the summer. When they complete their summer internship, they return to college to complete their degree. They are offered a full-time job for the following May once they graduate. Their status to the job id is changed to "Offer Accepted" for the future job id. This year we have made offers to some of these individuals to work part-time as complete their senior year in a new job id. When we hire them in the
