PeopleSoft Expenses: Authorize user to submit Expense transactions
We have a requirement wherein we need to authorize an user to submit expense requests on behalf of an employee.
I understand PeopleSoft Expense offers Authorize Users functionality which can cater our requirement. However, can someone help understand the purpose of "Delegation Initiator" feature/functionality under Delegations Framework? Other than notifying delegate about the request, Is this feature only for adding a role at run-time for the Delegate when the Delegation request is approved.
Before trying this out in a Demo Env, I was assuming the following process flow:
1. Delegator will create a Delegation request and choose a Delegate for "Delegation Initiation"
