Difference between R98403|XJDE0021 and AS400 CPYLIB

Hi,

What is the difference between R98403|XJDE0021 and AS400 CPYLIB in terms of background process they do. I am trying to refresh data from production to CRP for a client and it is taking almost 2.5 days for this report to complete, where as when we do using CPYLIB command it takes hardly 5-6 hrs. for this to finish.

Well I wanted to do this as part of making CRP=Production activity, but got stuck with this as it took so much long to complete which was not anticipated. Also there is a note in document 626197.1 as below, which made me ask this question to the community.
