adcfgclone - 12.2.7 on 19c database - fails - "shmmax" does not have expected current value

Hi all Gurus,

I have Oracle EBS 12.2.7 that has been upgraded to 19c (19.15). I am following metalink note 2552208.1 for cloning. I am looking for a way to bypass the shmmax setting needed - details below.

Our non prod environments have five EBS environment/instances that share one Linux box. We have our kernel setting for shmmax to 12G on a 64G memory box.

During the step 4.1.4 of that doc when I run:

perl adcfgclone.pl dbTechStack <Complete path to the target context file>

it fails. Digging into the logs I reached to under oraInventory/logs and found the following error:
