Are there special set-up requirements to use E1 Orchestrator Message Request Application Link

we are running E1 E920 tools 9.2.5.4. I have an orchestration that creates a message request and sends an email with an application link. The Orch seems to run fine, sends the email but when you click on the link it tries to open an E1 session but then fails with "jde’s server IP address could not be found." "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"

Is there some kind of configuration that is required to use this functionality?

The CNC that originally installed Orchestrator is no longer with the company. We recently upgraded to tools 9.2.54 and were running an older version of Orchestrator at that time.
