Creating or mapping/dev/cua/* /dev/dty/* devices to KernelZone (Solaris 11.3) on a Solaris 11.4 GZ
Hi,
My current config is like this:
Global Zone (GZ): Solaris 11.4
Kernel Zone (KZ): Solaris 11.3
Branded Zone in KZ: Solaris 11.3 (server to use /dev/cua/* /dev/dty/*-devices)
When I try to map the devices to the KZ, then zoneadm tells me the following:
zonecfg:kzone2> add device
zonecfg:kzone2:device> set match=/dev/cua/*
The device.match property is obsolete in solaris-kz brand
When I try to create the devices from within the KZ, I get the problem when I install the realport/digi-driver:
root@kzone2:/root# pkgadd -d 40001174_T.bin realport
Processing package instance <realport> from </root/40001174_T.bin>
