how to update the MTL_SAFETY_STOCKS in oracle apps R 12.1.3 through API

Hi Team,

How to update the Item Safety Stock details in oracle apps R 12.1.3 through API. We have one existing API mtl_safety_stocks_pkg.insert_safety_stocks. It will only insert new records only.

Please help us.
