Perl 5.84 to 5.10 on Solaris 10 8/10

Good I'm trying to install AHF on a solaris 10 8/10 tells me that you must have version 5.10 of Perl, currently has the 5.84 which would be the process to update or install version 5.10 of Perl and in case of any problem what would be the rollback?
