Analytics Publisher: Combine (Union) data from two data sources

Hello,

We are using OAS 5.9 on Linux and need to write a report in BI/Analytics Publisher that combines data from an Oracle and SQL Server databases. The queries have the same number of columns.

So it's like performing a union of two queries, it's just that the query data sources are different. I am not sure if this can be accomplished in BI Publisher within just the Data Model.

Wanted to avoid having to create a staging table to populate data from each data source and then base the data model on this staging table.

Any ideas?
