Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Make sure you are running the most current version of the JRE (Native Client Plug-in) used in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.

A wide range of products are available for the Java platform. Many of these product names sound similar, and are sometimes even used interchangeably in Sun's own documentation. For more information on Java terminology, see the Unraveling Java Terminology webpage. JRE 6 family refers to JRE 1.6.x. JRE 7 family refers to JRE 1.7.x. JRE 8 family refers to JRE 1.8.x.
